Cross with Wings

I crafted this piece as a heartfelt thank-you gift for my friend's mother, investing meticulous effort in detailing all 47 feathers on each wing individually. My aim was to infuse depth and a graceful slope into each feather. Moreover, I sculpted a gentle curvature in the wings to imbue the entire piece with a captivating sense of dimension. The challenge lay in using Solidworks, a software not inherently geared towards organic modeling. Looking back, if I were to revisit this project, I would seek methods to refine the wing edges for a more seamless integration, allowing them to gracefully blend with the background while reducing their bulkiness.
